This has been a busy and exciting year so far! In May I traveled to New York to present my work to galleries. I met a lot of great people, and came away with several invitations to participate in upcoming shows. The first is in December at the DFN Gallery in Tribecca. The show will feature over 20 artists, all with work based on the subject of New York city. I'm busy finishing my contribution, which will measure 80" x 32" Here's a preview of what it will look like when completed: New York

In July the San Francisco Chronicle ran a very positive article about my work. I was fortunate to be in a show at the Blue Room Gallery at the time. This generated much traffic at the gallery, which translated into sales of both originals and prints. If you would like to read the article online, click on this link: SfGate.com. I'd like to thank everyone who called to express their support, I greatly appreciate it!

Currently I am showing at the Newmark Gallery in San Francisco. The show has been very well received, and will be the subject of an upcoming review in the SF Chronicle.

I also received a request from Harpers Magazine to use one of my pieces. They will be featuring "Beauty and the Beast" in an upcoming issue. I'll let you know when it is scheduled to appear.

Recently, several people have inquired about commisioning original paintings. I am receptive to that option, although it would depend on the subject and criteria. If you have something particular in mind, please give me a call. I'd be happy to answer any questions regarding pricing, subject and timing.

Best regards,
David
