During his long career as an airline pilot, my father witnessed many changes and advancements. He began flying in the 1950's on venerable prop classics such as the DC-3 and Convair, into the first generation of jets and finally retiring in the 1980's with the MD-80 and 727.
For over 30 years he enjoyed the respect of passengers and colleagues, exemplifying professionalism, responsibility and commitment.
